The men’s team has many team building activities aside from the weekend races. Annual events include a pilgrimage to Loon Mountain in early April for Slush Pool Party. Alumni and current team members climb into an RV and travel up to the mountain to show off their skills as they ski across a 150 foot long slush pool at the bottom of the mountain.
This past year, most of the team traveled to Jackson Hole, Wyoming during spring break. The team enjoyed a week of skiing, paragliding, and concerts at the mountain. After being met with beautiful sunny skies and enjoying a few days of spring skiing, a huge storm dropped two feet of snow on the mountains of western Wyoming. The men’s team was then able to rip up the pow in distinct contrast from the conditions back east.
